“Communication is essential in our business and does not always have to be done with digital tools.” S. Chauvin – PPE technical manager

Sébastien Chauvin, PPE technical manager

How long have you been working with Les Régisseurs?

I joined les Régisseurs in April 2020 as a “PPE technical manager” which means a technical manager for the condominium department.

What does this job mean to you?

A technical manager is for me a personalised technical advisor to our co-owner clients.

What is your favourite aspect of your job?

Without hesitation, the interpersonal aspect. I notice that for a few years now, we have been oriented towards computers, but in this profession, digital is not everything. Indeed, the “relational” aspect is being lost. I can see that our customers and suppliers appreciate more and more natural communication instead of a simple e-mail or call. Communication is essential in our business and does not always have to be done with digital tools.

What is the working tool you could not do without?

The human would be a surprising but not so far-fetched answer, since the real-estate business is one of the last sectors that does not generalise the use of robots or sophisticated machines. The human being still occupies an important and essential place in real estate branch so that technical management can be carried out correctly. Moreover, we are service providers and by definition are the first working tool in the real-estate management companies, ahead of telephones and computers, which occupy a support function that has often become essential today.

What inspires you?

It is the fact that we accompany our clients in the technical management of their property. I enjoy making them feel confident and reassured to work with us.

What are your hobbies/passions?

My favourite leisure activity is family meals. I am also passionate about sports in general.

If you were a room in the house, which one would you be?

I would be the living room, to welcome my whole family and share good times with them.
