How long have you been working with Les Régisseurs?
I joined Les Régisseurs family a little more than 5 years ago, in April 2015. When I arrived, I was in the accounting department. Then in 2018 I decided to give my professional career a new lease of life and joined the condominium team as an administrative manager.
What does this job mean to you?
I have always worked in the real estate field and it represents my daily life. The world of real estate is very vast and requires a lot of knowledge, which is constantly evolving with new laws and directives. We work in an environment in which we must constantly renew our skills.
What is your favourite aspect of your job?
It’s the versatility, the fact of dealing with many fields is very rewarding. I have always enjoyed visiting apartments, I also have a strong attraction for architecture even if my knowledge of building techniques is still to be enriched. I am comfortable with figures, lease law, janitorial management etc. We administrative managers are more generalists than specialists and we don’t have time to get bored.
What is the working tool you could not do without?
A computer and a telephone are enough for my work to run smoothly. The sanitary crisis that we are currently going through has proven that the new generation of real estate is capable of doing without offices, paper, printers and other unnecessary equipment.
What inspires you?
I am very receptive to human values and relationships based on trust. For me there is no need to sign many documents to prove a commitment. I may often lack formalism, certainly due to my Valaisan origin, but I am still an aficionado of the handshake (even if it has been lost for some months).
What are your hobbies/passions?
I am interested in sports in general and more specifically soccer and field hockey. I have been coaching junior teams for a long time but with the arrival of my child and the courses for the building manager’s certificate, I had to put this activity aside. For some time now, I have been trying to perform in the mountains, going up and down as fast as possible but I am still light years away from the performances of my more experienced Skyrunner friends.
If you were a room in the house, which one would you be?
The living room, as long as there is a television with good channels.
